James 4:1-5 There is true story told about a wife/mother of two girls, who had a husband who didn’t make right decisions at times, he wasn’t perfect by any means, but he was known to be a righteous man nonetheless by others.  His wife on the other hand wasn’t very righteous at all, she loved this world and all it had to offer.  Pretty much she bought into the lie that this is your best life now!  But despite her unrighteousness and love for this world, she and her family were given an unbelievable, a once in a lifetime offer or opportunity, to flee destruction because of the perverse world system of their time.  But tragically as they left something overcame her and what was rooted already in her heart won the battle of the will.  The sad tragic ending of this woman is recorded for you and me many years later.  It goes like this! “ Then the LORD rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the LORD out of heaven. James 3:1-12 No matter where you live, no matter what you do every day, there is one thing we do all day long!  Can you guess what that is? You talk!  From the time you say “its morning already” to “Good night” you are constantly moving your mouth throughout the day.  Think about it! You talk in the bedroom, bathroom, hallway, kitchen, the garage or the man cave, you talk at work, school, when you eat and so on….all we do is talk, talk, talk.  It’s interesting to note that communication is one of the things that separate us from the rest of creation.  For some communication would be better if you didn’t talk at all, and for others they can’t live without talking.  We are a people who talk and that can be good thing, but it also can be a bad thing.  Prov 18:21 says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”   What the Writer is saying is this “Words kill, words give life; they’re eithe...
