  John 2:1-12   The Bible is full of accounts that teach and edify us, in our day-to-day routine.   What’s beautiful, is that though we benefit from the precious pages of the Scripture; they ultimately are displaying, and speaking, about the glory that belongs to God alone.   FOR EXAMPLE:   The Creation Account in Genesis The Deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt The Glimpse of God's glory that Moses requested The Conquest of the Israelites over larger nations to receive the Promise Land by Joshua The Contest on Mt Carmel between Elijah and the false prophets of Baal The Promise of a Savior by Isaiah The Visions of the Future by Ezekiel The Protection of Daniel in the Lion’s Den The Promise of Restoration of Israel by Zechariah The Birth of The Christ as we enter the New Testament   Luke penned, “And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.   John 1:29-34   In one sentence we have the essence of the Christian message , “Behold the Lamb of God” (v29)   What do you think of when you hear that statement in the Scriptures? “Behold the Lamb of God”   I think of pain and suffering that would come to save a sinner like me. I think of my sin, and the ultimate cost it took to remove my sin. I think of the glorious Christ, that saved me from the death that I deserve. I think of what an amazing God, whose love is unending to love the unlovable. I think of overflowing grace and His love towards a, once rebellious sinner like me. I think of the joy it fills my heart in the midst of the chaos that gets us through the day to day. I think of the humility in the person of Jesus, who came to do the Father’s will to save many.   See we “behold the Lamb of God,” when we take up our crosses daily, as God instructs us, and to follow Christ.   I’m reminded of that hymn……. “There is a fountain filled with
