I love what A.W Tozer once said "The Word of God well understood and religiously obeyed is the shortest route to spiritual perfection. And we must not select a few favorite passages to the exclusion of others. Nothing less than a whole Bible can make a whole Christian ."   William Tyndale said  "I will cause a boy who drives a plow to know more of the scriptures than the pope." This book is for all generations, all cultures and ethnic backgrounds. This book is for our understanding; this book displays to us the glories of His majesty....Read this Book! Love this Book! But better yet! Love the writer of this book....The Truine God! Father, Son and Holy Spirit! “Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.” Eph 6:18-20 In our daily walk with the Lord we come across many stumbling blocks that keep us from growing in our spiritual maturity (e.g. Friends, television, work, finances, marital problems, facebook) Just to name a few. I ask the daunting question why? The answer! As Christians today, we normally do not walk with the Spirit. I don’t know about you! But I personally find it difficult at times to have a spirit- filled life when I allow all the temptations of Satan  and this world to distort my walk with the Lord. When I allow things (or stuff) to distract me from the most important thing in my life, a growing in righteousness

Here are several very personal questions to help you know how severe we need to be with ourselves in order to "abstain from wickedness." Answer each one honestly. • Are you regularly with a person of the opposite sex in inappropriate situations? • Are you completely above reproach in all your financial dealings, including your taxes? • Do you expose yourself to explicit sexual material? • If you have a family, do you invest sufficient time with them? • Do you tell the truth? How often do you lie (don't forget to count the little white ones)? • How quickly do you say "I am wrong; I am genuinely sorry" when you have said or done something that hurts another? • Do you hold grudges? • Are you knowingly compromising in some area of your life, refusing to acknowledge the consequences that you will surely have to face? • Have you formed a habit that is detrimental to your health or your job or your walk with Christ? • Are you proud, selfish

I love my church. I'm so blessed to be here in Moosehorn Manitoba. Lord, I'm so thankful for godly men who are faithful to You and our local church. We serve an amazing God who gives us each and every day to glorify His holy name on the earth! The Moosehorn Baptist Church  family desires to glorify God in a way the consumes all our attention to Him and to only Him! As John Piper says "God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him" this is our goal and theme for 2010. We had our first MENS BREAKFAST today and it was a great day of fellowship, food and testimony.  To God be the glory for bringing us men together for His glory ........ This is what the church needs! Last night I took a journey to a land across the seas. I didn't go by ship or plane, I traveled on my knees. I saw so many people there in bondage to their sin, And Jesus told me I should go, that there were souls to win. But I said "Jesus, I can't go to lands across the seas." He answered quickly, "Yes, you can by traveling on your knees." He said, "You pray, I'll meet the need. You call, and I will hear. It's up to you to be concerned for lost souls far and near." And so I did; knelt in prayer, gave up some hours of ease, And with the Savior by my side, I traveled on my knees. As I prayed on, I saw souls saved And twisted persons healed, I saw God's workers strength renewed While laboring in the field. I said, "Yes Lord, I'll take the job. Your heart I want to please. This is a powerful video about a life who desires the things of this world, and will do anything to get them! We always tend to think humanly speaking...... that the riches of the world will completely satisfy our needs and that STUFF or wealth will complete us,.... That's a lie!....The end result could lead to jail, destruction and forever separated from the One whom you were created for...........Deny self and humble yourself to the Cross of Christ.........All I (you) need is Christ Jesus....We need to hold Jesus as extremely valuable and worthy to be praised and honored, for what He has done on the cross of Calvary some 2000 years ago..........The greatest and most valuable gift of all......He gave Himself for you and me.........The Gospel is and should be, our greatest reward and riches......To Him be the glory for He saves to the uttermost!

Do you realize that it’s a blessing to endure? James said “Indeed we count them (Christians) blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord — that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.” James 5:1........... This is the part we forget sometimes…….the Lord is very compassionate and merciful……to those who endure, for those who wait patiently......... With Problems in your Marriage or Family Psalmist wrote “through he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand” Ps 37:24....... He upholds us! With what? He's sovereign all powerful HAND .........
